About the role

Role Overview

Intrinsic is seeking a skilled, self-motivated UX Designer to help identify, design, prototype, and deliver new UX features that exceed customer expectations. This posting is intended to identify qualified individuals for an upcoming contract opportunity (employment is contingent on contract award).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with development and business teams to draft, prototype, and realize design solutions
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprints
Work closely with the Product Director, CTO, and Scrum Master to deliver the platform on time
Advocate for users and translate user feedback into design features and solutions
Build high-quality, cohesive product features using a leadership-by-example approach
Design, build, and push new products for emerging market needs
Support UX for core capabilities including modern software engineering, AI/ML-related training, enterprise cloud/offline environments, and AR/VR/live simulation products

Requirements (Minimum)

Bachelor’s degree in Design / HCI (or equivalent)
2+ years relevant UX experience on diverse software teams
2+ years experience delivering in Agile environments
Experience designing wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity front-end designs
1+ year experience with web environments: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
1+ years with UX/design tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or Miro

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building and shipping products
Experience with DoD, large aerospace enterprise, or AI/ML industries
3+ years in production/operations on consumer digital products
3+ years of UX design experience
3+ years project management experience within design/UX organizations
Interest and ability to learn new technologies as needed

Logistics & Compensation

Location: Remote (United States)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Type: Full-time (contract contingent on award)
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
