UX Designer

Role Overview

Prophetic is hiring a UX Designer to improve the usability and user experience of its AI-native real estate platform. You’ll focus on concrete, identified friction points—redesigning flows and interactions to reduce complexity and speed users up.

Responsibilities

• Audit and evaluate existing UX issues across the application, identifying the highest-impact areas of friction.
• Redesign and re-implement UX elements and user flows to improve usability and reduce complexity.
• Turn UX problems into solutions, moving from low-fidelity concepts to final, developer-ready specs.
• Partner closely with engineers to ensure accurate and efficient implementation, including hands-on pairing during build-out.
• Collaborate with product to prioritize UX improvements aligned with broader product goals.
• Create and iterate on design patterns to improve consistency and ease of use.
• Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and users to continuously refine the experience.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience in UX or product design, with a portfolio showing measurable improvements on complex interfaces.
• Strong interaction design and flow optimization, with the ability to simplify complex workflows.
• Proficiency with modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and ability to produce high-quality, developer-ready specifications.
• Experience working with engineers in an Agile environment, including involvement in implementation.
• Ability to identify, prioritize, and systematically address UX problems using qualitative feedback and product intuition.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.
