About the role
Role Overview
UX Designer, E-Commerce (Mobile-first) to own UX and UI for Admissions Products across websites and native apps. You’ll lead the design for the top half of the purchase funnel, turning complex offerings (e.g., pricing models and operational constraints) into clear, scalable guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end UX and UI design for Tickets, Passes, Upgrades, and Offers.
- Design product comparison, merchandising, and selection flows to help guests decide confidently.
- Partner with Product Managers on strategy, requirements, and trade-offs.
- Translate pricing, entitlements, and operational rules into intuitive experiences.
- Balance platform consistency with flexibility across different park types (e.g., dry parks, water parks, Sesame Place, Discovery Cove).
- Contribute to and evolve shared design systems, patterns, and documentation.
- Conduct and synthesize user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis.
- Rapidly prototype and iterate, incorporating feedback from data, testing, and stakeholders.
- Partner with the Cart & Checkout Designer for a seamless purchase journey.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure quality implementation and smooth handoff.
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX/UI design experience for respected consumer e-commerce businesses.
- Strong experience designing mobile-first web and app e-commerce experiences, especially discovery and selection flows.
- Demonstrated expertise in Information Architecture, Interaction Design, and Visual Design.
- Ability to work within constraints and simplify complex requirements.
- Experience collaborating with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Experience conducting usability testing, synthesizing research, and performing competitive analysis.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions.
- Experience with modern design tools and workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
