About the role

Role Overview

The organization is seeking a Senior UX Designer with deep design systems expertise to evolve and scale an enterprise-level UX design system across web and mobile products. You will help define how the system grows while ensuring consistency, accessibility, and scalability, partnering closely with design, engineering, product, and accessibility teams. The role also sits at the intersection of emerging AI-assisted workflows and modern design-to-code practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain reusable components, patterns, and assets in Figma
Collaborate with design, engineering, product, and accessibility teams to ensure usability and consistency
Drive design system evolution by finding opportunities for standardization, scalability, and efficiency
Create and maintain documentation, usage guidelines, and best practices to support adoption at scale
Partner with engineers to ensure alignment between design system and coded implementations
Ensure accessibility standards and responsive design best practices across platforms
Participate in governance processes and design reviews to maintain system integrity
Support modern workflows, including AI-assisted design tools and design-to-development integrations

Requirements

5+ years of UX design experience, including significant experience with design systems
Expert Figma skills: component libraries, variants, auto-layout, tokens, and governance
Strong understanding of design systems architecture (components, patterns, tokens, accessibility, documentation)
Proven ability to create and maintain scalable reusable component libraries and design assets
Strong collaboration experience with engineers to align design and development
Knowledge of responsive design and modern digital product design practices
Experience supporting products across web and mobile
Strong understanding of accessibility and inclusive design
Ability to create documentation, usage guidelines, and governance frameworks
Strong communication and storytelling; able to influence stakeholders
Portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, governance, and adoption at scale

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting design systems across web, iOS, and Android
Experience with design tokens and system governance practices
Familiarity with design-to-code workflows and modern development pipelines
Exposure to AI-assisted design workflows and automation / machine-readable design systems
Familiarity with intent-driven design approaches and emerging design technologies
