About the role
Role Overview
PointClickCare is hiring a UX Designer (Contract, 6 months) for a remote role in the USA. You’ll work closely with product and engineering teams to improve the usability of the platform and help care professionals make better-informed decisions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research and user testing
- Create mockups to communicate functionality and design
- Refine user personas and map user journeys
- Champion UX best practices to ensure improvements align with users’ needs
- Build relationships across users, representatives, customer success, and other internal groups
Requirements
- Degree in a related field (UX Design, IT, Graphic/Industrial Design, Visual Communications) or equivalent experience
- Expert professional UX design experience
- Strong skills in visual design with excellent attention to detail
- Experience procuring qualitative and quantitative data
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Proficiency with UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Dovetail, Adobe, Protopie)
- Ability to manage competing priorities and thrive in a fast-moving, complex environment
- Experience with usability testing and analytics platforms
- Helpful: working knowledge of HTML and CSS to discuss specs with engineers

- Expertise with established and emerging UX design practices
