UX Designer

Role Overview

Applied Systems is seeking a UX Designer to join the EZLynx Product Team on a remote or hybrid basis within the United States. You’ll help improve the user experience across products by combining user research, information architecture, and rapid prototyping.

What You’ll Do

• Develop a strong understanding of users’ experiences and the motivations behind their needs.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify, construct, and test information architecture.
• Translate product ideas into wireframes, mockups, and coded prototypes.
• Coordinate and conduct primary user research and formal usability testing to validate and iterate efficiently.
• Explain and defend design decisions through clear storytelling and rationale.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to implement designs into released features.
• Promote product consistency across the platform.
• Use usage analytics to measure success and track solution performance.

Requirements

• 3+ years of UX experience, preferably in B2B enterprise software or SaaS.
• Strong knowledge of experimental design, research methodology, and statistical analysis.
• Experience applying research methods such as:
  • User observation, user interviews
  • Usability testing
  • Card sorts
  • Persona development
  • User journeys and surveys
• Ability to interpret research results and convert them into actionable insights.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
• Proficiency with prototyping/design tools such as:
  • Figma
  • Balsamiq
  • Miro
  • whiteboards (and similar tools)

Nice to Have

• Insurance industry or insurtech experience.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and techniques (e.g., AI / Machine Learning).
