UX Designer – AI-Powered Recruiting Platform

Role Overview

UX Designer (AI-Powered Recruiting Platform) — Contract (6+ months, long-term potential), Remote (United States). The role emphasizes leading generative and evaluative UX research for an AI-powered recruiting platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead generative and evaluative research initiatives for an AI-powered recruiting product
• Partner with product, design, engineering, and talent acquisition stakeholders to:
  • Uncover user needs
  • Evaluate product experiences
  • Drive research-informed decisions across recruiter, hiring manager, and candidate workflows

Requirements

• 8+ years of UX research experience in Enterprise SaaS, HR Technology, or similarly complex platforms
• Experience researching AI-enabled/AI-augmented products, including:
  • Explainability
  • Trust
  • Adoption challenges
• Strong ability to run mixed-method research, including:
  • User Interviews
  • Surveys
  • Card Sorting
  • Co-Design Workshops
  • Tree Testing
  • Usability Testing
  • Contextual Inquiry
• Hands-on experience with research platforms such as Dovetail, Maze, UserZoom, or equivalent tools
• Ability to translate findings into actionable product and design recommendations

Contract Details

• Pay Range: $40–$45/hour
