UX Designer

Role Overview

GrabJobs is seeking a UX Designer to create engaging, intuitive prototypes for its platform. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to refine UX that meets both user needs and business objectives, while staying aligned with UX best practices and accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate user interfaces across devices in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Create UX prototypes to support internal and external playtesting and improve user engagement.
• Contribute to the platform UX strategy, ensuring designs align with KPIs and business goals.
• Use player research and analytics to understand user behavior and inform design decisions.
• Develop and communicate UX concepts using artifacts such as:
  • storyboards
  • information architecture diagrams
  • journey maps
  • user stories
  • competitive audits
  • flowcharts
  • wireframes
  • prototypes
• Design UX for casual, mass-market mobile games, with focus on hero collector and tactical battle genres.
• Ensure designs meet quality standards and are delivered on project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Graphic Design, Digital Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• 1+ year of professional experience in UX Design (or similar roles such as Video Game Designer / Graphic Designer).
• Experience designing UX for mobile applications, including shipped titles.
• Familiarity with live-service mobile products.
• Proficiency in UX design/prototyping tools: Figma, Miro, and/or Adobe Suite.
• Experience with UX artifacts listed above.
• Required Video Game Software experience, specifically Unity.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with distributed teams.
• Background with hero collector or tactical battle games.
