Role

UX Designer (Senior) — Temporary/contract assignment (~April 2026 – August 2026). You will lead the design of intuitive, user-centered experiences across digital products and platforms, translating complex requirements into scalable UX solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end UX process: discovery and research → wireframing → prototyping → final design delivery
Design intuitive, scalable experiences for complex features and workflows
Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define user needs and convert business requirements into design solutions
Conduct/support user research, usability testing, and data analysis to guide decisions
Create high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications
Contribute to and maintain design systems for consistency and scalability
Advocate for UX best practices and accessibility standards
Present designs and rationale; incorporate feedback effectively
Provide guidance/mentorship to other designers when appropriate

Qualifications

5+ years professional experience in UX / product design (or related)
Demonstrated ability to lead complex design projects from concept through delivery
Strong portfolio showing user-centered processes and product impact
Proficiency with modern design/prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar
Experience working with cross-functional teams in product-driven or Agile environments
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Location / Work model

Remote or hybrid; Austin, TX hybrid preferred
Remote candidates must reside in: AZ, CA, CO, FL, MI, MO, NV, SC, TX, or WA
