About the role

Role Overview

UX Design Engineer for a remote US-based AI tooling platform. You’ll own the end-to-end product experience, working at the intersection of UX, UI, and frontend engineering—from identifying user pain points to designing and implementing improvements directly in the product.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end product experience across a complex, technical platform
Identify friction points using user research and session analysis
Rapidly prototype interaction patterns using Figma + code
Implement UI/UX improvements alongside senior engineers
Refine flows, edge cases, onboarding, and overall usability
Build reusable interaction patterns and contribute to design systems

Requirements

Strong UX/UI skills with hands-on Figma experience
Ability to code and ship frontend/UI improvements
Background in frontend engineering, UI engineering, or UX engineering
Experience with complex B2B products such as developer tools or data platforms
Product mindset with strong attention to detail and user experience
Comfortable using modern AI-assisted tooling (e.g., Cursor)

Nice to Haves

Experience using AI-assisted coding workflows and prototyping in practice
