User Interface Designer

Role overview

Moon Rabbit is hiring a UI Designer to join its design team and take ownership of digital UI design across a range of brand and platform experiences. The role goes beyond execution: you’ll shape concepts, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver polished, user-centered interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute UI design for digital projects including:
  • Websites
  • Landing pages
  • Emails
  • Banners
• Translate wireframes and strategy into intuitive, beautiful, and accessible interfaces
• Help evolve brand systems and design libraries across projects
• Collaborate with copywriters, developers, project managers, and strategists to align on goals and timelines
• Present work internally with clear rationale and incorporate feedback
• Deliver production-ready files, ensure consistency across breakpoints, and partner with developers for smooth handoff
• Stay current on UI trends and interaction patterns
• Participate in design critiques to improve team output

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in UI or digital design
• Strong portfolio demonstrating modern, user-centered digital design
• Fluency in Figma and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, hierarchy, and responsive design
• Experience designing for desktop and mobile
• Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain design decisions
• Comfortable working independently and managing timelines

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Webflow
• Motion tools experience (e.g., After Effects, Lottie)
• Basic familiarity with front-end development
