About the role

Role Overview

Join Baydin (Boomerang) as a User Experience (UX) Designer with strong writing skills to shape the user experience of productivity tools. You’ll translate user insights into engaging, intuitive design and clear in-product copy.

Responsibilities

Create UX artifacts across the development lifecycle: user journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and specifications
Write effective in-product copy, including UI language, error messages, and user communications; collaborate with marketing and support on supplemental content
Partner with engineering and product teams to ideate and implement features aligned to user needs and business objectives
Collect, organize, and analyze feedback from support channels and product analytics
Use qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize user needs and support business growth
Conduct usability testing and user surveys to find improvement opportunities and validate designs
Plan and run A/B testing to measure the impact of design changes and test new feature concepts
Maintain a user-centric approach while balancing technical feasibility and business goals

Requirements

BS or MS in a relevant field (computer science, design, psychology, HCI, or related) with 5+ years UX design experience, or 7+ years relevant experience
3+ years as a UX Designer at the same company
Portfolio with diverse projects showing measurable impact on live products
Proven collaboration with product management, visual design, and engineering
Strong toolkit proficiency, including Figma, wireframing, workflow diagramming, and prototyping
Deep understanding of user empathy and user-centered design
Excellent written communication skills and ability to craft user-focused copy
Strong presentation and ability to articulate complex design concepts
Strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects

Interest in latest UX and productivity research
Preference for candidates in the SF Bay Area
