Role: UX Researcher

UX Researcher (Remote)

Work mode: Remote, but must be on-site for week 1.

Duration: 6+ months contract (W2).

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic design and execution of user-centered research and usability studies to produce actionable insights for associate, branch, and client systems.
• Collaborate with business areas to align research efforts with firm/division/department priorities, focusing on client and user centricity.
• Design and execute user research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Select and recommend efficient research approaches to meet business objectives, and guide teams through an appropriate UX process.
• Use change management best practices to build rapport, understand user needs, address resistance, and reinforce learnings.
• Partner with multi-disciplinary teams (including other business areas) to execute UX projects.
• Provide supporting documentation that informs product/system/application development and implementation.
• Consolidate, analyze, and interpret research findings; apply critical thinking to connect insights to business goals.
• Manage multiple priorities and align resources/initiatives where possible.
• Decide on research methods for complex technology questions and inform decision-making via user feedback.
• Set expectations for deliverables and outcomes; demonstrate creativity, collaboration, and negotiation in a matrix environment.
• Monitor UX project execution, including establishing/tracking UX project metrics and conducting evaluations.
• Mentor and assist other UX Researchers on similar UX project needs.
• Leverage data/analytics to understand user behaviors/engagement and identify opportunities to improve digital experiences.
• Partner with stakeholders to support rollout of new products/features/experiences.
• Own self-development and stay current with UX research techniques and tools.
