User Experience Researcher

Role: User Experience (UX) Researcher

Remote role with an initial on-site requirement (first week). The assignment is 5 months+ with 2 open positions.

Location

• Remote, with ability to be on-site during week 1
• Preferred residence: NYC, DC, Charlotte, San Antonio, Irvine (and surrounding areas)

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic design and execution of user-centered research and usability studies.
• Produce actionable insights that influence the design and development of:
  • associate, branch team, and client systems, tools, applications, and processes
• Conduct UX research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Select and recommend the most effective research approaches to meet business objectives, then guide stakeholders through the UX process.
• Apply change management practices to build rapport, understand user needs, address resistance, and reinforce learnings/results.
• Partner with multi-disciplinary teams and business areas to execute UX projects.
• Consolidate, analyze, and interpret research data; apply critical thinking to connect findings to business goals.
• Provide supporting documentation and influence product/system/application development and implementation.
• Establish and track UX project metrics, run evaluations, and monitor execution.

Skills / Requirements (implied)

• Expertise in accessibility and familiarity with native mobile apps.
• Ability to make decisions on research methods for complex technology questions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and influence skills in a matrix environment.
• Experience using research feedback to inform decision-making.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI tools.
