About the role
UX Researcher (Accessibility & Native Mobile)
Location: Remote (must be on-site for the first week) — ideal locations: NYC/DC/Charlotte/San Antonio/Irvine
Contract: 5 months+

Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic design and execution of user-centered research and usability studies to generate actionable insights for design and development.
- Plan and conduct research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Recommend the most efficient and effective research approaches to meet business objectives, then guide teams through an appropriate UX process.
- Apply change management practices to build rapport, understand user needs, address resistance, and reinforce key learnings.
- Partner with multi-disciplinary teams and business areas to deliver UX projects.
- Consolidate, analyze, and interpret research findings; apply critical thinking to connect insights to business goals.
- Provide supporting documentation and influence product/system/application development and implementation.
- Help manage multiple priorities; identify when to escalate and proactively suggest solutions.
Nice-to-haves / Focus Areas
- Accessibility expertise and familiarity with native mobile apps.
- Experience with AI tools is a plus.
- Mentoring or assisting other UX researchers.
