User Experience Researcher [82030]

Role Overview

Onward Search is seeking a User Experience (UX) Researcher to support the Mobile Experience (CoreX) team for a remote, temporary assignment. This role will help drive user-centered mobile product development through research and evidence-based insights.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute comprehensive UX research initiatives across multiple mobile projects.
• Use a range of research methods, from generative to evaluative approaches.
• Provide insights grounded in evidence to influence product development and UX strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, Data Science, and Engineering.
• Communicate findings to senior stakeholders via storytelling, workshops, and discussions.
• Synthesize research across projects to clarify user needs and support strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Extensive industry experience as a researcher.
• Degree (or equivalent) in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field.
• Proficiency with multiple UX research methods, including:
  • Ethnography
  • Usability testing
  • Concept testing
• Ability to integrate quantitative and behavioral data.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments, build trust with cross-functional teams, and work effectively in ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior audiences and participating in dynamic discussions.
