Role Overview
User Experience (UX) Engineer to build user-facing features and scalable applications, modernizing legacy products, and promoting user-centered design practices across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver user-facing features using Vue.js and Laravel (PHP).
- Design intuitive interfaces, creating reusable components and modern UI patterns.
- Advocate for user focus across teams; communicate UX value and principles.
- Apply web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and UX best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams: contribute to code reviews and explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Maintain strong emphasis on code quality, performance, and delivering reliable solutions aligned with business needs.
- Work with cloud environments including Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Use AI productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot) and related best practices.
Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in UX engineering.
- Strong experience with:
- Vue.js
- Vuex/Pinia
- JavaScript (ES6)
- Laravel (PHP)
- HTML5/CSS3
- Web accessibility (WCAG)
- Performance- and UX-focused front-end development
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with TKG and AWS (public/private cloud).
- Experience with AI productivity tools (GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, etc.).
