User Experience Engineer (UX)

Role Overview

As a User Experience (UX) Engineer, you will build user-facing features and scalable applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. You’ll design intuitive, accessible, and responsive experiences while modernizing legacy systems and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain user-facing features using Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, JavaScript (ES6), and Laravel (PHP)
• Design accessible and responsive UI following UX best practices and WCAG
• Develop reusable UI components and help modernize legacy applications
• Improve site performance and ensure code quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable applications
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintainability and reliability
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders
• Work with cloud platforms including TKG and AWS
• Use AI productivity tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot) to improve engineering efficiency

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience
• Proficiency in Vue.js, Vuex/Pinia, and JavaScript (ES6)
• Experience with Laravel (PHP)
• Strong front-end fundamentals: HTML5 / CSS3
• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
• Experience with Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG) and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot and Microsoft Copilot

Nice to Have

• Experience applying UX and performance improvements across an organization (advocacy for user-centered design)
• Demonstrated ability to modernize legacy applications using current tooling and patterns
