User Experience Designer

Role Overview

York Solutions is hiring UX Designers for remote, contract work (no third-party resources). The role focuses on end-to-end product design across complex, technical, data, business, AI, and decisioning experiences.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly rate: $45.00–$55.00/hr (W2, DOE)

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, ambiguous UX/product design initiatives as a senior individual contributor (from discovery through delivery).
• Translate technical, data, business, AI, and decisioning logic into intuitive workflows and explainable insights.
• Design data-rich interfaces such as:
  • dashboards, reporting tools
  • recommendations, alerts, notifications
  • decision-support experiences and automation/workflow UX
• Use research, data, and business context to inform design direction and influence cross-functional partners.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a UX Designer / Product Designer / Interaction Designer (or related) with a strong end-to-end portfolio.
• At least 4 years in one of:
  • Ad Tech, Retail Media, Marketing Technology, Ecommerce, Analytics, or Measurement platforms, or
  • AI-powered/AI-enabled product experiences (decision-support tools, recommendation systems, automation workflows, explainable AI).
• Strong ability to communicate product narratives and rationale across stakeholders.
• Advanced proficiency in modern design/prototyping tools, especially Figma.

Nice-to-Haves (implied)

• Deep expertise in either AI experiences or Ad Tech/retail media/measurement (roles do not require both).
