About the role

Role Overview

You will join a shopping product team to design innovative conversational shopping experiences. The work focuses on how customers discover, evaluate, and purchase products through AI-powered, chat-based interactions, using an existing design system.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end conversational shopping experiences (including happy path and unhappy path journeys)
Create user flows, interaction models, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and clickable prototypes in Figma using an existing design system
Develop journey maps and service blueprints across conversational touchpoints
Apply systems thinking to connect conversational experiences throughout the broader shopping journey
Collaborate with product managers, UX researchers, engineers, and content designers to deliver a cohesive customer experience
Translate business objectives and customer insights into scalable interaction patterns for AI-powered shopping
Iterate based on stakeholder feedback, usability findings, and changing product requirements

Required Qualifications

5+ years of UX/Product Design experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or shopping platforms
Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end customer journey design and complex interaction design
Experience designing conversational, AI-assisted, or chat-based user experiences
Strong understanding of retail customer behavior and shopping decision-making
Expertise in Figma (component libraries, prototyping, design systems)
Experience with: User flows, Customer journey maps, Service blueprints, Wireframes, High-fidelity mockups, Interactive prototypes
Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional product teams

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI-assisted or generative AI product experiences
Background in conversational UX, virtual assistants, or intelligent product discovery
Experience working within mature enterprise design systems
Familiarity with strategic design, future-state visioning, and service design methodologies
