About the role

Role Overview

Senior UX Designer (3-month contract, 100% remote, highly likely to extend) for an enterprise client. The role focuses on creating meaningful, end-to-end customer experiences using systems thinking, creativity, and strategic UX vision—especially for AI-powered features.

Responsibilities

Think holistically about the full customer journey, including AI-assisted and autonomous interactions
Define near- and long-term UX vision across products, devices, and markets
Identify opportunities in the technology landscape and design best-in-class experiences
Own end-to-end UX from concept to launch (flows, wireframes, visual design, prototypes)
Partner with product and engineering to implement high-quality solutions
Advocate for the customer using data, metrics, and user insights
Present design rationale to senior business and executive leaders
Design interactions for AI-powered features such as copilots, chat interfaces, recommendation systems, and autonomous agents
Contribute to a strong UX practice, including best practices for AI, human-AI interaction, and responsible design

Requirements

5+ years of UX, product, or interaction design experience
Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped products, concepts, and prototypes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Deep knowledge of desktop and mobile UX best practices and usability principles
Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to inform design
Experience designing AI-powered products, conversational interfaces, or intelligent systems

Nice to Have

Experience shipping enterprise products
Experience designing AI agents, copilots, or multi-step autonomous workflows
Familiarity with prompt design/prompt engineering and/or working with LLM-driven systems
Experience partnering with data science or ML engineering teams
Experience designing for human-AI interaction (transparency, trust, usability)

Contract & Compensation

3-month contract, 100% remote (extension likely)
Salary range: $60.00/hr to $70.00/hr
