About the role

Role Overview

Entry-level User Experience (UI/UX) Designer for a venture-backed SaaS platform. You’ll help drive the company’s digital product design efforts through UI prototyping, design system scaling, and cross-functional feature discovery.

What You’ll Do

  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Create responsive layouts, user flows, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes to validate user journeys and feature functionality.
  • Design System Stewardship: Maintain, scale, and document reusable UI assets, components, and design tokens in Figma for consistent platform-wide visuals.
  • User Research & Discovery: Support qualitative research by building test-ready prototypes, analyzing usability data, and iterating based on behavioral insights.
  • Engineering Alignment: Collaborate with Product Managers and Frontend Engineers to deliver clear design specifications and perform post-implementation visual QA.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, HCI, Computer Science, or equivalent UI/UX bootcamp certification.
  • Experience: 0–2 years via internships, freelance projects, or a strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking.
  • Tools: High proficiency with Figma (including auto-layout, component architecture, and variables).
  • Web Fundamentals: Understanding of HTML/CSS responsive constraints.
  • Mindset: Open to creative critique, highly detail-oriented, and empathetic about solving user friction.

Nice-to-Haves / Tools Mentioned

  • Experience collaborating in Jira and prototyping/testing workflows using FigJam and Maze.

Compensation

  • $75,000 – $95,000 base + annual performance bonus, equity shares, and corporate health benefits.
