User Experience Designer

Role Overview

Experis is seeking a User Experience Designer to join its team on a contract, remote basis with the ability to work ET hours and be onsite in NYC with clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze target users and how they perform tasks to create an optimized user experience.
• Lead user experience strategy development aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert, influencing and advising teams on design decisions.
• Provide solutions that apply across multiple teams.
• Advise stakeholders on best practices and emerging UX trends.
• Drive innovation to improve user engagement and satisfaction.
• Champion quality standards and continuous improvement within the UX design process.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a User Experience Designer (or closely related AI/ML UX role).
• Master proficiency in Customer Experience Design.
• User Research expertise recommended.
• Streamlit and hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex (including latest capabilities such as CoCo (formerly Cortex Code) and Snowflake CoWork (formerly Snowflake Intelligence)).
• Ability to work ET hours and be onsite in NYC when needed.

Nice-to-Haves

• Snowflake Cortex experience (including Cortex CoCo / CoWork mentioned above).
• Usability Design.
• Experience with UI usability testing tools.
• User Interface (UI) Design expertise.

Experience

• 5+ years in relevant UX (or AI/ML UX) with recent required Cortex AI experience.
