Role Overview

Join EyeCarePro as a User Centered Design Lead to transform the company’s website design processes. This brand-new role focuses on building scalable systems for user research, usability testing, and journey mapping, and embedding user-centered design thinking across client website projects.

Responsibilities

UX Leadership & Strategy
- Build and operationalize user-centered design processes for client website projects.
- Define and implement frameworks for research, journey mapping, and usability testing.
- Advocate for users throughout design and development.
Collaboration & Integration
- Partner with designers, developers, writers, and account managers.
- Work with the experimentation/optimization team to evolve post-launch testing beyond A/B testing.
- Align UX goals with business objectives with design leadership and product owners.
Execution & Evaluation
- Lead user research and testing for new and existing client websites.
- Create and document UX guidelines, workflows, and toolkits for scale.
- Develop methods to gather actionable usability insights across a large client base.

Requirements

5–7 years of experience in UX with strong emphasis on user research, testing, and journey mapping.
Proven ability to build or lead UX practices from scratch in a cross-functional environment.
Strong communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote-first organization.
Deep understanding of UX principles and usability best practices.
Hands-on experience with user journeys, personas, wireframes, and prototypes.
Analytical mindset to translate insights into design improvements.
Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative testing methods.
Eye care or healthcare industry experience (or adjacent) is highly preferred.

Contract & Work Requirements

100% remote work-from-home.
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time.
Must have: personal computer/equipment, reliable high-speed internet, quiet professional workspace, and backup power supply (if applicable).
