About the role

Role Overview

Usability Researcher 3 in the UX Research group, supporting the evaluation and enhancement of user experiences—specifically for Excel and Copilot.

Responsibilities

Execute multiple concurrent UX research projects focused on evaluating Excel and Copilot experiences.
Conduct rapid qualitative and mixed-methods research to produce actionable insights.
Analyze diverse data sources, synthesize findings, and deliver clear, impactful reports.
Coordinate with research and product teams, including recruitment vendors and research operations for smooth execution.
Design research studies and perform benchmark testing.
Create research communication assets such as videos and presentations.

Requirements

Advanced degree in Engineering, Social Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience designing and executing mixed-methods UX research, including qualitative and quantitative analysis.
Strong project management, organization, and planning with high attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication to influence data-driven decisions.
At least 6 months of professional experience researching generative AI or large language models.
