About the role
Role Overview
HR Solutions Manager for U.S. operations, responsible for delivering HR solutions across all associates in the United States. You will drive HR strategy aligned to regional business priorities while improving both employee experience and HR service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Strategic HR leadership & execution
- Inform and execute the HRSP (HR solutions) strategy aligned to U.S. business priorities.
- Partner with global HRBPs and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver regional business objectives.
- Act as the regional expert across the U.S., advising on HR processes and policies that affect business units with diverse legal/cultural contexts.
- Develop strategy for union relationships and labor engagement in the U.S.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Implement standardized employee relations (ER) discipline and processes nationwide to ensure consistent practice and compliance.
- Lead centralized processes for conflict resolution, grievance handling, and disciplinary actions.
- Handle escalated employee relations investigations and ensure timely resolution.
- Serve as subject matter expert for U.S. HR policies and regulations.
- Communicate policy updates regularly with site HRBPs and support change management.
- Operational Excellence & Special Projects
- Support M&A HR due diligence and HR integration/divestiture efforts as needed.
- Support enterprise-wide HR initiatives and special projects.
- Monitor and improve HR service delivery metrics and operational efficiency.
- Drive change management initiatives supporting transformation and growth.
- Design HR metrics and analytics frameworks to measure program effectiveness and impact.
- Adapt HR strategies to meet business needs amid market shifts and challenges (particularly in regulated industries).
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a senior HR business partner role.
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing HR strategies, processes, and/or policies in a global context.
- Proficient in data analytics and tools, including advanced Excel.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making in ambiguous, complex environments.
- Ability to lead through influence and drive results in matrix organizations.
- Experience managing complex employee relations issues and organizational changes.
