UI/UX Web Designer

Role Overview

Blacksmith Agency is hiring a UI/UX Web Designer to create innovative, modern website designs with advanced interactions for cross-industry clients. You’ll own the full design process—from concepts and wireframes to final responsive layouts—while collaborating with developers to translate client needs into polished digital experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Present and iterate homepage concepts with clients, guiding them to decisions
• Art-direct design outputs (direction, edits, curation)
• Apply web design best practices to ensure high-quality, craft-driven results
• Handle client feedback and steer revisions through iteration
• Lead design work including:
  • Concept creation and conceptualization
  • Wireframing/storyboarding
  • Final layout design for mobile and desktop
• Translate user research/insights into workflows, detailed interactions, and design strategy
• Communicate design intent and reasoning to clients and internal teams
• Contribute to creative efforts supporting new business and sales pursuits
• Organize and manage design assets (files, layers, folders)

Requirements

• 5+ years of website design experience
• Proficient with Figma
• Portfolio demonstrating strong, elegant web design work
• Ability to design with modern branding and current design trends
• Strong attention to detail and drive for pixel-perfect execution
• Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript

• Motion design experience
