UI/UX/ Product Designer (REMOTE)

Role Overview

Koniag IT Systems, LLC (a Koniag Government Services company) is seeking a UI/UX/Product Designer with Salesforce experience to support a government customer. The position is remote and requires the ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces, prototypes, and wireframes for Salesforce applications
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user requirements
• Create user-centric designs that improve usability and user experience within Salesforce
• Produce wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts
• Partner with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency with Salesforce platform standards
• Conduct usability testing and iterate based on user feedback
• Implement Salesforce customizations/configurations to achieve desired UI outcomes
• Maintain design consistency and alignment with brand guidelines across Salesforce applications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, including specific Salesforce design experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work, specifically in Salesforce environments
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning Design System (SLDS) and Lightning Components
• Proficiency in Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma
• Ability to implement designs with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance

Nice-to-Haves

• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder)
• Experience with mobile app design and responsive web design
• Familiarity with accessibility standards
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Background in government/federal IT projects
