Role overview

DataAnnotation is seeking a UI/UX Product Designer to help train and improve AI models. You’ll review and enhance how AI systems understand, generate, and evaluate design work—including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and overall user experiences.

This is a growing, design-focused area where your feedback will directly influence the next generation of AI tools for designers.

Responsibilities

Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
Evaluate quality of AI output for correctness and performance
Help train models to better understand:
- Aesthetic quality
- User-centered design

Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
Strong understanding of:
- Visual hierarchy
- Interaction design
- User flows
Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
Bachelor’s degree preferred (current/in progress/completed)

Process / How you’ll start

Apply through the general core assessment
Complete a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design
If approved, you’ll access general AI training projects and be invited to design-specific projects (e.g., UI/UX critique, product visuals, aesthetic evaluation)

Compensation & logistics

Remote (full-time or part-time)
Choose which projects you work on; work on your own schedule
Hourly rates:
- General AI training: $25–$30+ USD/hr
- Design-focused projects: $40+ USD/hr
Bonuses for exceptional work
Payment via PayPal
