About the role
Role Overview
DataAnnotation is looking for a UI/UX Product Designer to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. You will evaluate and enhance how AI systems interpret, generate, and assess design work—including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
- Evaluate AI output quality for correctness and performance
- Help train models on aesthetic quality and user-centered design
- Provide detailed feedback that refines the model’s understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality
- Participate in design-focused projects (e.g., UI/UX critique, product visuals, aesthetic evaluation, presentations, and creative deliverables)
Qualifications
- Fluent English (native or bilingual)
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- A Bachelor’s (current/in-progress/completed) is preferred but not required
Compensation & Work Model
- Remote full-time or part-time
- Flexible schedule; you can choose which projects to work on
- General AI training projects: $25–$30+ USD/hr
- Design-focused projects: $40+ USD/hr
- Bonuses for exceptional work
- Independent contract; payment via PayPal
