UI/UX Digital Designer (Jr to Mid)

Role overview

UI/UX Digital Designer (Jr to Mid) (Remote) You’ll sit at the intersection of strategy and visual design, taking ownership of web and/or app designs for ecommerce clients—from discovery through developer handoff. You’ll translate business goals and user needs into high-converting digital experiences, typically paired with a more senior designer on client work.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end design ownership for website improvements and ecommerce projects:
  • user research
  • wireframing
  • prototyping
  • high-fidelity UI design
• Ecommerce optimization:
  • cart/checkout optimization
  • product discovery
  • user retention journey design
• Collaboration & handoff with product managers and front-end developers
  • deliver clean, well-documented Figma files
• Data-driven iteration
  • analyze user feedback, heatmaps, and Google Analytics
  • propose design solutions to improve conversion rates (CR)
• Design systems
  • maintain, scale, and contribute to internal/client design systems
• Client communication
  • present concepts, rationale, and user journeys; incorporate feedback
• Internal improvements
  • help improve processes and templates

Requirements

• 3+ years professional UI/UX design experience (agency or fast-paced ecommerce preferred)
• Strong portfolio showing:
  • responsive web design
  • interactive prototypes
  • user-centered design principles, especially ecommerce/transactional workflows
• Advanced Figma skills (auto-layout, components, variables, prototyping)
• Familiarity with:
  • FigJam
  • Jira
• Research capability:
  • experience writing and/or moderating user studies
• Adaptability:
  • comfortable context-switching across multiple client projects
