UI/UX Developer

Role Overview

Two Six Technologies is seeking a UI/UX (Front-End) Developer to join a fast-paced, collaborative team solving complex problems for the intelligence community. The role focuses on delivering robust UI features for daily users in an iterative environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement modern front-end UI features
• Work collaboratively in an iterative software delivery environment
• Support UI testing practices (unit and end-to-end)

What You Will Need

• 2–5 years of practical software engineering experience
• Minimum 1 year experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent)
• Experience with:
  • TypeScript, JavaScript
  • CSS/SCSS, HTML5
  • Modern UI frameworks such as Vue.js, React, and/or Angular
• Experience working in collaborative team environments

Nice To Haves

• Unit testing: Jasmine, Karma, or Vitest
• End-to-end testing: Cypress
• Git and Jira in a development workflow
• Agile experience
• Web visualization frameworks: D3.js or Cesium
• Experience with Bootstrap and SCSS
• Observer patterns using RxJS (or similar)
• User-centered design knowledge and experience with Sketch/Figma
• Security clearance: Active TS/SCI required (TS/SCI with Poly preferred)
