UI/UX Designer (Mobile) — BJAK (London / Remote)

Design intuitive, high-impact mobile experiences for BJAK’s iOS and Android apps.

Role overview

You’ll design mobile UI/UX flows that improve user trust, retention, and satisfaction, working on mission-critical features across BJAK’s mobile product ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design UI/UX for mobile apps (iOS & Android) from discovery to delivery
• Translate business and user needs into:
  • wireframes
  • prototypes
  • detailed visual designs
• Apply mobile-first design principles, optimizing for:
  • screen sizes
  • load times
  • platform conventions
• Run usability tests and iterate based on user feedback
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation and design integrity

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience designing mobile apps (React Native, Flutter, or native)
• Strong understanding of mobile usability standards and mobile design systems
• A strong mobile-focused portfolio (no portfolio = not considered)
• Proficient with Figma and mobile prototyping / responsive design tools
• Based in London or open to remote work

Nice-to-haves

• Deep mobile mindset: designing with real devices, constraints, and gestures in mind
• Experience simplifying flows for users new to fintech
• Up-to-date knowledge of mobile UI patterns and trends
