UI/UX Designer

Role Overview

The company is seeking an experienced E-EFMP UI/UX Designer to support enterprise applications in a large federal/DoD-aligned mission environment. This is a fully remote role where you will design intuitive, accessible, human-centered user experiences for government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and user journey maps
• Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Translate mission workflows and user requirements into intuitive UX/UI designs
• Produce low- and high-fidelity prototypes using industry-standard tools
• Document interaction patterns, navigation structures, and visual design guidelines
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate UI/UX implementation
• Ensure accessibility compliance (e.g., Section 508 and WCAG)
• Maintain style guides, component libraries, and comprehensive design documentation
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint reviews, planning, refinement)
• Analyze user feedback and usage data to continuously improve UX

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance with Tier 3 background investigation
• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Digital Arts, or related field
• 5+ years experience in UI/UX, human-centered design, or digital interface development
• Proficiency with prototyping/design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar
• Strong knowledge of UX principles, interaction design, and user research methodologies
• Knowledge of accessibility standards: WCAG and Section 508
• Experience conducting usability testing and user research

• Experience collaborating closely with engineering, product, and business teams in Agile environments
