UI/UX Designer

Role Overview

The UI/UX Designer will shape the digital experience across TriWest’s internal and external platforms. You’ll create user-centered, innovative design solutions that align with business goals and branding standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality design assets aligned with project requirements and brand guidelines
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for usability and visual appeal across devices
• Develop and refine user stories, user journeys, and user flows (including UX/IA mapping as needed)
• Support design and enhancement of internal/external websites and portals, maintaining a cohesive creative vision
• Apply UX principles to new features and functionalities
• Identify and troubleshoot UX issues (e.g., responsiveness and accessibility)
• Create visually engaging graphics, images, and content layouts for seamless user experiences
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate user requirements
• Adjust layouts based on user feedback and testing results
• Stay current with emerging UX/UI trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Fine Arts, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years experience in interaction and visual design for software UI in an agile environment
• 3+ years designing interactive and visual elements for mobile and web initiatives
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience designing/layout/production of print materials
• Portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects and solutions

Preferred

• Sketching and UX planning artifacts such as information architecture maps, process flows, storyboards, and sitemaps
• Responsive web design and mobile app design (Apple Store, Google Play, Microsoft Store)

Nice-to-have / Basic Technical Knowledge

• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, .NET, and JavaScript
• Proficiency with prototyping tools and techniques
• Knowledge of UI best practices, trends, and accessibility standards including Section 508 compliance
