UI/UX Designer, Sr.

Role Overview

Senior UX/UI Designer on the UI/UX and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) team. As a senior individual contributor, you will own and maintain the web design system, lead UX strategy across digital properties, and ensure experiences are purposeful, on-brand, and conversion-optimized.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and govern a comprehensive design system in Figma (typography, color palettes, components, and usage guidelines).
• Lead UX strategy for web/digital properties to ensure experiences align with business goals and user needs.
• Produce polished, developer-ready Figma files and clearly defend design decisions to stakeholders.
• Serve as a design authority for shared marketing resources, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to standards.
• Apply conversion rate optimization (CRO) thinking to improve web experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience with an end-to-end portfolio (research → design → developer handoff).
• Strong mastery of Figma, including components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping, and handoff.
• Deep UX expertise: user research, usability testing, journey mapping, and information architecture.
• Proven experience building and governing scalable design systems with cross-team adoption.
• Strong visual design skills (typography, color theory, layout, brand application).
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 and inclusive design.
• Ability to collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to translate designs into feasible implementations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design rationale.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI tools for design concepting, rapid iteration, and asset generation.
• Motion design / micro-interactions; familiarity with CSS animations or After Effects.
• Experience with financial services/fintech or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with A/B testing and CRO principles.
• Experience working in Agile/sprint-based workflows.
