UI/UX Designer, Sr.

Role Overview

Senior UI/UX Designer responsible for optimizing the online user experience for usability, usefulness, and visual appeal. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in a Scrum environment to deliver client-facing and internal design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, user-friendly online experiences for client and internal needs
• Produce wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps
• Conduct research, discovery, and usability testing to inform design decisions
• Design UI components such as menus, tabs, and widgets
• Build and modify interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and Angular frameworks
• Collaborate with developers to ensure design feasibility and accurate implementation
• Provide recommendations and evaluations for new designs, features, and architecture improvements
• Stay current on UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience
• Experience creating wireframes and prototypes
• Strong portfolio showcasing effective and aesthetically pleasing software experiences
• Current knowledge of UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe XD and Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator/Photoshop)
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 and the ability to translate designs into functional interfaces
• Ability to solve complex problems independently
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal)
• Willingness to learn new skills and technologies
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science, or related field
• UI development experience and some JavaScript knowledge

Location / Work Arrangement

• Remote role with occasional office visits
• Must be within commuting distance of Tampa
