Role Overview
UI/UX Designer (Remote, US)
Join a leader in the Business Services space to design user-centered experiences for cloud-enabled, data-driven digital services. You’ll partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to translate analytics into actionable improvements.
Responsibilities
- Design user-centered experiences for Grants.gov applications and digital services
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications focused on usability and accessibility
- Improve web forms to increase usability and reduce data entry redundancy
- Conduct usability and accessibility reviews to refine digital products
- Collaborate with developers to ensure designs meet compliance and quality standards
- Support ongoing maintenance of user experience issues and related documentation
- Enhance chatbot interactions based on user feedback and experience
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- 5+ years of UI/UX, interaction, or service design for web applications
- Proven experience designing web forms and data entry workflows
- Strong knowledge of Section 508 and accessibility standards
- Ability to translate user needs and business requirements into actionable designs
- Skilled collaboration across diverse stakeholders and technical teams
- Proficiency with Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud
Nice to Haves
- Experience working on digital services for government platforms (e.g., Grants.gov)
