About the role
Role overview
Jobgether is hiring on behalf of a partner company for a UI/UX Designer (remote-first) in the United States. The role focuses on creating engaging, intuitive mobile game interfaces used by players worldwide—taking designs from early wireframes through polished visual assets.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end mobile game UI/UX solutions (flows, layouts, interactive systems)
- Create wireframes, user journeys, and high-fidelity mockups aligned with gameplay and player engagement
- Develop in-game interface elements such as HUDs, menus, pop-ups, icons, and other system UI
- Collaborate with game design, art direction, and production to ensure gameplay/visual consistency
- Iterate designs using feedback, usability insights, and player/performance data
- Maintain visual consistency and clarity of game interfaces across projects
Requirements
- 3+ years of UI/UX design experience in the gaming industry (mid to senior)
- Strong portfolio with released commercial game projects
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX, usability, and responsive layout adaptation
- Strong visual design skills: composition, typography, color theory, hierarchy
- Proficiency with Figma (and/or Photoshop/Illustrator or similar)
- Ability to design full UX systems from concept to final UI
- Upper-Intermediate English or higher
- Passion for games and understanding of player experience
Nice to have
- Experience with game metrics, usability testing, and free-to-play mechanics
Contract & work setup
- Fully remote, flexible working hours
- Contract-based: initial 3-month term with possible extension
