UI / UX Designer

Role Overview

UI/UX Designer at Javvy Coffee, joining a growing Design team to create and optimize ecommerce experiences that drive measurable growth. The role blends strong design craft with CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) expertise, focusing on landing pages, product experiences, and customer journeys.

What You’ll Own

• Design and optimize high-performing ecommerce experiences:
  • Landing pages, product pages, collection pages
  • Bundles, quizzes, promotional campaigns, seasonal launches
• Partner with Growth Marketing to translate CRO strategies into intuitive, high-converting user experiences
• Analyze user behavior and performance using:
  • Heatmaps, session recordings, analytics, and A/B test results
  • Identify friction and improve conversion, average order value, and revenue
• Build experiences designed for continuous experimentation and iteration
• Improve key journeys across navigation, PDPs, cart, checkout, upsells, and post-purchase
• Create clean, premium, mobile-first interfaces with strong typography, spacing, and hierarchy
• Contribute to and evolve the shared design system (reusable components for faster campaign execution)
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
• Iterate on designs based on performance data, customer feedback, and business goals

• Your portfolio shows exceptional taste in typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and modern ecommerce design
• You have deep experience designing ecommerce journeys that deliver measurable business results
• You think like a CRO practitioner and use insights from testing and behavioral data to improve conversion
• Figma is your primary tool
• You can deliver production-ready designs, prototypes, and scalable design system components
• You have strong UI/UX fundamentals (visual hierarchy, layout, accessibility, interaction design, mobile-first)
• You thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and iterate quickly with cross-team feedback

Bonus Points

• Experience with Shopify, Webflow, or headless ecommerce
• Core Web Vitals and performance optimization
• UX writing or close collaboration with copy
