About the role

Role Overview

As a UI/UX Designer at Funhouse Gaming, you’ll use a user-centered design process to create designs for targeted users. You’ll take ideas through the full cycle—from user research to prototyping and usability testing—to iterate toward optimal product experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and translate findings into UX improvements
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
  • Define interaction flows between product elements and actions
  • Run usability testing and iterate based on results
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX issues (e.g., responsiveness)
  • Use data analysis and qualitative feedback to improve UX
  • Stay up to date with design trends, techniques, and processes
  • Collaborate with project managers and the development team to produce design assets and documentation

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional design experience
  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in multimedia/web design or a related field
  • Proven portfolio of design projects
  • Strong UI/UX, concepting, and design skills with an emphasis on typography, content, and imagery
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS and other front-end languages to ensure feasibility
  • Firm understanding of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and image optimization
  • Experience with Figma and wireframing/prototyping tools

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of JavaScript
