UI/UX Designer

Role overview

Fraction is hiring a UI/UX Web Designer to design intuitive, visually appealing user interfaces for its web applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the company’s digital products are user-friendly, engaging, and accurately implemented.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and feedback
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for websites
• Develop and maintain design specifications and style guides
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Stay current on UI/UX trends and best practices
• Work with product managers and stakeholders to define user requirements and project goals
• Audit existing web properties for quality assurance and adherence to best practices

Requirements

• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma
• Experience designing for the web using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong knowledge of user-centered design and accessibility/best-practice guidelines
• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first approaches

Nice to have

• No additional “nice to have” requirements explicitly stated beyond accessibility, responsiveness, and user-centered methodology familiarity.
