About the role
Role Overview
UI/UX Designer (Remote, independent contract) You will help train and improve cutting-edge AI models by assessing and enhancing how AI understands, generates, and evaluates design work—including interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
- Evaluate output quality for correctness and performance
- Provide detailed feedback to help models better understand:
- Aesthetic quality
- Usability and user-centered design
- Contribute to design-specific projects such as:
- UI/UX critique
- Product visuals
- Aesthetic evaluation (including presentations and other creative deliverables)
Requirements
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required (current/in progress/completed)
Preferred/Process Notes
- Apply via a general core assessment, then complete a Web & UI/UX qualification
- After approval, you may work on general AI training and be invited to design-specific projects
Work & Compensation
- Full-time or part-time REMOTE; choose which projects you work on and your own schedule
- Pay starts at $25–$30+ USD/hr for general AI training; $40+ USD/hr for design-focused projects
- Bonuses may be available for exceptional work
