About the role
Role Overview
DataAnnotation is seeking a UI/UX Designer to help train and improve AI models. You will assess AI-generated design work—interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences—and provide detailed feedback to refine the model’s understanding of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.
What You’ll Do
- Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
- Evaluate AI output quality for correctness and performance
- Help train models to better recognize aesthetic quality and user-centered design
- Contribute to design-specific projects (e.g., UI/UX critique, product visuals, aesthetic evaluation, presentations, creative deliverables)
Requirements
- English fluency (native or bilingual)
- Background in UI/UX, web design, product design, or graphic design
- Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flows
- Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (current/in progress/completed), but not required
Compensation & Work Setup
- Remote full-time or part-time
- Choose which projects you want to work on; work on your own schedule
- General AI training projects: $20+/hr; design-focused projects: $40+/hr, with bonuses for exceptional work
- Payment via PayPal
