Role overview

UI/UX Designer (remote, independent contract)

Help train and improve AI models by assessing and enhancing how AI systems understand, generate, and evaluate design work—interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences. You will review AI outputs, provide detailed feedback, and refine model performance on aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.

What you’ll do

Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
Evaluate AI output quality for correctness and performance
Train models to better understand:
- Aesthetic quality
- User-centered design
Contribute to design-specific projects such as:
- UI/UX critique
- Product visuals
- Aesthetic evaluation (e.g., presentations and creative deliverables)

Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
Strong understanding of:
- Visual hierarchy
- Interaction design
- User flow
Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
Bachelor’s degree preferred (in progress or completed)

Nice to have / process notes

Apply through a general core assessment, then complete a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design
Once approved, you’ll be able to select general AI projects and be invited to design-focused projects

Logistics & compensation

Remote: full-time or part-time; choose which projects you want to work on and your own schedule
Pay: PayPal
Rates: general AI training starts at $20+/hour; design-focused projects start at $40+/hour, with bonuses for exceptional work
