About the role

Role Overview

DataAnnotation is seeking a UI/UX Designer to help train AI models to better understand and generate design work. You’ll review AI-produced interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences, and provide detailed feedback to improve aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.

Responsibilities

Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
Evaluate AI output quality for correctness and performance
Help train models to understand:
- Aesthetic quality
- User-centered design

Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
Strong understanding of:
- Visual hierarchy
- Interaction design
- User flow
Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required (in progress or completed)

Additional Details

Remote: full-time or part-time, with the ability to choose which projects to work on and work your own schedule
US only applicants considered
Work includes general AI training projects and design-specific projects (e.g., UI/UX critique, product visuals, aesthetic evaluation, and creative deliverables)
