About the role

Role Overview

UI/UX Designer (remote; independent contract) to help train AI models by assessing and improving how they understand and generate design outputs. You will critique AI-generated interfaces and visuals, and provide detailed feedback to improve aesthetic quality and user-centered design.

Responsibilities

  • Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
  • Evaluate AI output for correctness and performance
  • Help train models to better understand:
    • Aesthetic quality
    • User-centered design
  • Contribute to design-specific projects such as UI/UX critique, product visuals, and aesthetic evaluation (including presentation/creative deliverables)

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)
  • Background in UI/UX, web design, product design, or graphic design
  • Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
  • Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Nice to Haves

  • Completion of the Web & UI/UX Design qualification after applying through the core assessment

Compensation & Logistics

  • Rates:
    • General AI training: $20+/hr
    • Design-focused projects: $40+/hr
    • Bonuses for exceptional work
