UI/UX Design Lead – Wearable Safety Technology Platform

Role Overview

LoopRoots Foundation is seeking a UI/UX Design Lead for its Wearable Safety Technology Platform. This volunteer role (20–25 hours/week) will lead design for mobile apps, a web platform, and an administrative portal, creating accessible, consistent, and user-centered experiences—especially during critical moments.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX and UI design for the platform
• Create user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
• Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile
• Build and maintain a design system and component library
• Conduct user research and usability testing
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation
• Improve accessibility and overall user experience across products
• Maintain visual consistency and brand alignment
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and testing

Requirements

• Experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer
• Strong portfolio covering web and mobile application design
• Experience with wireframes, prototypes, and design systems
• Understanding of user-centered design principles
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for technology with meaningful social impact
