Role Overview

Principal Front-End Software Engineer to lead the design and development of modern, user-focused web applications supporting mission-critical operations. You will provide technical leadership to front-end developers while staying hands-on across the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UI design and front-end development of scalable, modern web applications
  • Provide technical leadership to a team of front-end developers
  • Actively participate in design, implementation, integration, and delivery
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver high-quality software
  • Mentor development teams
  • Work in an Agile environment
  • Integrate with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and contribute to full-stack solutions
  • Partner with UX/UI designers and systems engineers to deliver intuitive, accessible experiences

Required Qualifications

  • TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or related) + 12 years relevant experience; or no degree + 16 years relevant experience
  • Strong proficiency in modern front-end frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue
  • Strong proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
  • Experience with full-stack development using Node.js, Python, or Java
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
  • Experience with state management and component-based application architecture, including responsive design
  • Experience using Git and working within CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience developing in cloud environments: AWS, Azure, or AWS GovCloud
  • Experience developing applications in Linux/Ubuntu environments
  • Familiarity with tiered/distributed software architectures
