About the role

Role Overview

Contract UI Engineer (Remote) to build and maintain user interface components for a technology platform. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality UI.

Responsibilities

Develop responsive, accessible, and performant UI components using modern frameworks
Collaborate with designers to turn wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces
Ensure cross-browser/device compatibility while maintaining design system consistency
Optimize UI performance by resolving rendering and load-time bottlenecks
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with accessibility best practices

Requirements

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with React or Vue.js
Responsive design experience and CSS preprocessors (Sass or Less)
Strong UI/UX understanding and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs
Familiarity with state management (Redux, Context API) and asynchronous programming
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines

Nice-to-haves

Experience working within a design system
Demonstrated ability to improve frontend performance metrics
